Super Star Meets Her Death

Pop super star Whitney Houston fell to an untimely death on February 11, 2012 at the age of 48.  Houston was found already dead by her bodyguard and hairdresser in a hotel bathtub.

Occurring on the eve of the 54th Grammy Awards, her unexpected death shook up the music industry quite a bit.  Lady Gaga traded in her classic crazy awards show attire for an all black outfit and veil, to pay tribute to Houston’s passing.

Singer Jennifer Hudson performed an emotional tribute to the late Houston at the Awards show.  This performance was a reprise of Hudson’s rendition of the song “I Will Always Love You” which she originally performed at the BET Awards.

As of late, the details of her death remain unknown.  However, the most likely cause of death is her years of substance abuse.

Coroners are still awaiting the results of the toxicology screenings, but there is very little chance that her past of substance abuse has nothing to do with her passing.

Although in recent years it seemed that Houston had been making every attempt to get her career back on track, she never fully conquered the demons of her past.
